//Chrysanthi & Vangelis, destination wedding in Sifnos Island//
Have I ever mentioned that the Greek island, Sifnos, is one of my favourite places on Earth? Well, it is! I cannot even recall how many times I have visited this amazing island, which is known for its tiny historical churches and the handmade art pieces of pottery. It is not the first time I have been a photographer for a destination wedding held at the famous white church of Chrysopigi. The couple chose this unique church to get married and to promise to love and respect each other for the rest of their life.
The wedding ceremony was held quite early with the sun shining bright and creating the best conditions for the couple and the guests. An unforgettable party followed the ceremony, at Kamares, the spot where the waves crush on the port of the island. We danced all together and we had some of the most tasteful dishes made by the skilful chef of the wedding. Chrysanthi is a wonderful woman, mother and partner. As a fan of the Art of photography, the bride shared my fascination with the process and she was also the one who planned the wedding to the last detail. Vangelis, on the other hand, is one of the most joyful and openhearted grooms I have ever had the chance to work with. Stress-free and confident in front of the camera, he enjoyed our photo shooting sessions more than I expected. Alongside the newlyweds, completing the family portrait, was their adorable baby girl Violetta. I had the chance to meet the little one a couple of months ago, when I was the photographer of his Christening day. The girl has the same beautiful smile as her father.
I wish them every happiness and we will renew our collaboration next year in Sifnos!
